Elaine Robinson Beattie is a Leadership Readiness Expert & Speaker who partners with hotel, restaurant, travel, and destination organizations to stop losing their best leaders to burnout, turnover, and underpreparedness.

She knows this pressure because she lived it. Elaine started in the hotel business as a management trainee, and her first management position was assistant housekeeping manager in New Orleans. Over 21 years as a hotelier, she rose to General Manager, leading a $10 million operation, and served in executive roles opening hotels and restaurants for Sheraton, Loews Hotels, Hilton Hotels, IHG, and Delaware North. She also served as Director of Human Resources for food service and hospitality across the National Tennis Center at the US Open Tennis Championships, working with Sportservice, The Joseph Baum & Michael Whiteman Company, and Glorious Food. Along the way, she learned firsthand that performing and leading people are not the same thing.

Her gift has always been spotting talent and walking alongside people until they reach the seat they want. That gift became the S.E.E.A.T.™ framework: Self-Awareness, Emotional Intelligence, Education, Accountability, and Transformation. Today, as CEO and Founder of the Lead Well, Lead Wise™ Executive Academy, Elaine uses that framework to build leaders who are ready, resilient, and remain.

Backed by over 35 years in leadership, Elaine partners with organizations through three offerings: speaking, leadership development training, and executive coaching. Her signature keynotes include Promoted, Not Prepared, Leading Short-Staffed, Culture Over Coverage, and Fem-Leadership Edge. She has trained 5,000+ leaders, more than 500 of them through Lead Well, Lead Wise™, and 88% of her coaching clients advance within six months.

Elaine is the author of Sis, You Earned It and host of the Leadership Talks: The Things We Wish We Knew podcast. Her work has been featured in Speakers Magazine, AICI Global Magazine, and Voyage ATL, and she wrote a business column for Urban News.

She holds an MSML from Montreat College, an MRL from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University, and a BA from Simmons University. She is a WABC Registered Corporate Coach and a Certified DiSC Facilitator.
